The New 90210

I know, I know. I need to write something, but work has been insane. Long hours. My responsibilities have been tripled. It's crazy! TGIF! T...G...I...F... ne'er sweeter words whispered.

On Saturday it was my good friend, Vanessa's, birthday party. She held an all day bash down at Dockweiler Beach, which is just south of LAX. It's also the only beach in ALL of Los Angeles that has fire pits. The only downside is that the beach promptly closes at 10 p.m. They WILL write you a ticket if you're still on the beach one minute past 10 p.m.

Anyhoo, I'm hanging out, meeting her friends. Chatting folks up. Generally, having a good time. I knew her roommate Dustin was in some new TV show for the fall, but I haven't given it much thought. Then on Tuesday I get to work and what pops up on Yahoo's homepage? But this...

Turns out "Dustin" is Dusting Milligan. And I was chatting up the rest of the cast most of the night. Shrug.
I actually first met Dustin a year and a half ago at Vanessa's Canada themed party, but have hung out with him and Vanessa on several subsequent occasions. He's a good guy and I'm happy he's doing well. The best part, come September teenage girls the world over will be jealous of me. Well, maybe a little more jealous of his lady friend, which I'm not saying he has, but if he did, little girls would likely be more jealous of her than me, is all I'm saying.

BTW, homerun with Vanessa's birthday gift. I'll share it with ya'll in case you're in need of a good gift for a friend. I got her an iPod Shuffle and completely loaded it with music. They're pretty inexpensive, just requires a bit of time to put all the music on it.

My work bff, Otterby, had me google the World's Largest Bunny and this was the result. It gives me more joy than I can say.
